Education Providers - Platform Lifts

Press Release (August 2012) - "Pandect releases a worldwide first - a platform lift designed and manufactured to be compliant with both Australian and New Zealand Standards"

Pandect is embracing the recent release of a new New Zealand Standard (NZS 4334:2012) covering both low-speed and platform lifts.

This new standard, along with established Australian Standards, are key measures to help ensure the installation of safe and fit for purpose access equipment into and within public buildings. They are of particular relevance where stairs are expected to carry most of the traffic, thereby offering an alternative to high-speed, volume moving lifts with their associated build works and costs.

Pandect is currrently the only manufacturer worldwide that can supply a platform lift that meets the compliance requirements of both Australian and New Zealand Standards".

Pandect lifts offer a safe, cost efficient and economical solution in overcoming access challenges in the ‘commercial’ environment. For authorities and building owners they are a proven solution in meeting requirements around federal and state initiatives on disabled access for persons.

Pandect has, for over 16 years, been designing and manufacturing platform lifts for use in many environments throughout Australasia including education facilities, outdoor settings, commercial buildings, retail shops, heritage buildings and private premises.

Pandect's lifts are chosen as the preferred platform lift within New Zealand. This preference is being mirrored in Australia as awareness grows of the quality of the product which is fully compliant with Australian Standards, fit for purpose and affordable.

Our extensive range of disabled access lifts are built to suit varying settings and environments including different finishes from a choice of powder coated colours to resilient stainless steel.

Pandect offer custom designed lifts where standard disability/platform lifts and production models may not be suitable. Contact us for further details.
